Honor has lifted the lid on its much-awaited Honor GT Pro – a ‘beast’ of a phone that marries high-end tech with stunning looks – designed specifically with performance enthusiasts and mobile gamers in mind. Featuring top-of-the-line specs, a sleek design and a competitive price, the Honor GT Pro wants to stamp its authority on the high-performance smartphone race of 2025.
Initial Impressions:
Clean, Brave, And Can Go The Distance straight out of the box, the Honor GT Pro wants to make an impression. The phone features an elegant and minimalistic design having a premium glass back and aluminum frame. It comes in striking colors like Phantom Silver, Racing Blue and Carbon Black and it definitely looks the part of a flagship. The rear of the GT Pro subtly echoes the performance DNA, with racing stripe inspired accents and a sleek vertical array for the triple cameras.
The front is head lined by a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with razor-thin bezels and a punch-hole camera in the middle. Hand feel of the phone is decent and the weight balanced so is comfortable to hold for long sessions of use – gaming and watching videos.
Display And Design: Silky And Sexy
One of the GT Pro’s many highlights is the display. It has a Full HD+ resolution (2400 x 1080 pixels), a 144Hz refresh rate, and a 360Hz touch sampling rate, all of which mean a very snappy and responsive screen that should be excellent for gaming. HDR10+ compatibility and great color reproduction make watching Netflix, YouTube or Disney+ content a joy.
Visibility under sunlight is good (1500 nits max brightness), and the under-display fingerprint reader is fast and responsive.
Performance:
Beast Mode On for specs, the Honor GT Pro is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, along with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. This duo delivers an experience reminiscent of a rocket-meets-lightning at the speed of light. Whether you’re gaming, multitasking or editing videos, GT Pro does it all with ease.
It is operated by Magic OS 8.0 based on Android 14, which provides a better intelligent experience. Honor also has opted for the latest thermal management in the form of a dual vapor chamber cooling system that will keep the device cool under intense usage.
Camera Setup:
Sharp, Flexible, and AI-Based and it isn’t just raw power that the Honor GT Pro excels at—it’s also impressive in the photography stakes. The triple rear camera on the device comprises of the following:
50MP main sensor with OIS
12MP ultra-wide-angle lens
5MP macro sensor

Video capture extends to 4K at 60fps, and with features such as ultra-steady mode and real-time bokeh effects, the GT Pro should make for a solid vlogging companion.
Battery Life and Charging
The Honor GT Pro houses a 5,200mAh battery, plenty to keep it running all day under heavy use. When you do run out, the 120W wired fast charging has you back to 100 in just under 25 minutes. There’s also 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging, providing all the flexibility you need.
Connectivity and Extras
Its connectivity is serious, with capabilities for 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and dual stereo speakers with DTS:X Ultra to keep up on the audio side. The phone also is equipped with haptic feedback with X-axis linear motor and has IP54 splash resistance.
